Two kinds of character populate the Candy Shorts catalogue. Some were designed by Candy AI and exist only on the platform; others are digital twins of real creators, built from a licensed likeness. The distinction matters for how a series looks and for its price.

Candy AI's own characters
The majority of the cast are original creations with a name, a look and a personality defined by Candy AI; some are also chat companions on the main platform. Margot Vey is the clearest example in the Shorts range: she carries Couples Therapy With Margot Vey, a five-episode Wife story in which she plays the therapist. Series led by original characters are nearly always priced at 12 tokens per paid episode.
Digital twins of real creators
A second group reproduces the likeness of real adult performers who have licensed their image to Candy AI. On Candy AI, Riley Reid is presented as the lead of Our Host Is Riley Reid, a five-episode story at 30 tokens per episode. These series are filed under Adult stars and cost 30 or 50 tokens an episode. We only report what the platform says about these performers, nothing beyond their on-screen role.
Why the same faces return
Generating a consistent character is the hard part of AI video, so once Candy AI has a face that holds up it tends to reuse it. The result is a small repertory company: the stepsister in one Taboo series may be the neighbour in a Wife series a month later, under a new name. Recognising a face is often the best clue that a new series will look as good as the one you enjoyed, and the lead of Nerdy Stepdaughter is a case in point.
