Don't Tell Your Mother! on Candy Shorts

One secret, kept for the wrong reasons

Told in the second person, the series casts you as the stepfather. Your partner's adult daughter Ava has moved in, and she is not the quiet type: you catch her coming in through the window in the small hours and decide not to mention it. That silence becomes leverage. Ava, grateful and bolder with every episode, starts settling the debt in ways her mother would never sign off on, and the title line becomes the only thing left to say. The mother is never far away, which is where the tension comes from.

Ava Parkson is a Candy AI character presented as a 22-year-old college student. Every character in the series is an adult.
